To qualify for admission, a candidate should meet the following requirements:
Undergraduate program:
All applicant students should provide the following requirements:
1- High-School degree certificate (or any equivalent certificate) for College of Business (scientific or literature specialty)
2- English Language Placement Test.
3- Mathematics Placement Test.
4- IT Placement Test.
Students, who do not pass the placement tests are required to do an orientation semester consisting of 9 hours of English language, 3 hours of Mathematics, and 3 hours of IT.
TAGBU TAGUB admits students who have completed a portion of their studies at another local or international university will be given credit for those courses that are equivalent to those offered at TAGBU TAGUB provided they have earned a minimum grade of C (70%) in those courses.
Graduate program:
1- Academic Rrequirement: Be a holder of an undergraduate degree in any field of study from a recognized university with a minimum average of “good”. An average of “good” does not necessarily guarantee admission to the program.
2- English Language Requirement: Obtain a minimum TOEFL score of 80 out of 120 on an Internet based test (iBT) which is equivalent to 550 on a paper based test (PBT), or a minimum IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of 6.0.
3- Proficiency in Basic Computer Skills: Be proficient in basic computer skills such as those provided by the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge University IT Skills Program or its equivalent.
4- Work Experience: Must provide evidence of relevant work experience of 2 years.
Applicants should submit a completed application form and an official transcript of all university work and other information that may be requested by the Admissions Committee.
