‘Abu-Ghazaleh Digital University International’ Conducts Field Visits to Refugee Camps in Jordan’s Northern Governorates


To introduce recently-announced Digital MBA scholarships

IRBID - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Digital University International (TAGDUI), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), in coordination with the Department of Palestinian Affairs (DPA) has organized field visits to Palestinian refugee camps in the northern governorates of Irbid, Ajloun, and Jerash, to brief the camp dwellers on the Digital MBA scholarships HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh offers to all Palestinians worldwide.

The scholarships include obtaining a Master's degree from TAGDUI, in one of five specialized master's disciplines including: Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, Intellectual Property, and Supply Chain Management.

Ms. Bara Frihat, manager of TAG Foundation for Palestinian Education, said the scholarships initiative is considered one of the many other aspects of  TAG.Global’s community support projects, out of its corporate responsibility toward the Arab youth in general and the Palestinians in particular.

Ms. Frihat further extended her thanks to the Camp Services Director, Mr. Osama Alkam, for his helpful contribution to planning the field visits, invitations, meetings, as well as for his efforts in facilitating the process.

The visits were well received by the Palestinians living in the camps, as they expressed their appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh for his constant support especially to the Palestinians and Arab youth in general. 

Among the requirements for winning a scholarship is that the student must have a minimum average of (good GPA and higher) in the bachelor's degree; lives in the Palestinian occupied territories; or in Palestinian refugee camps in Jordan, Lebanon, or Syria; and has a certificate of the national examination of the English language or its equivalent.

Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Digital University (TAG-DU), established in 2018, offers an array of distance-learning programs (Master’s Degree) through the free Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), which enables a large number of students to enroll in the best programs offered worldwide.
